Mohan Lal Sukhadia
Mohan Lal Sukhadia was an Indian Politician, who served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan State for 17 years (1954-1971).
While he became the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and was responsible for bringing major reforms and developments in Rajasthan.
Therefore, he is still widely revered as the “founder of modern Rajasthan”.

Mohan Lal Sukhadia Early Life:-
While Mohan Lal Sukhadia was a well known Politician, his father, Purshottam Lal Sukhadia was a well known cricketer of Bombay and Saurashtra teams. He was born in a Jain family of Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
Sukhadia completed his primary education from Nathdwara and Udaipur.
Furthermore, after completing his primary education he went to Mumbai for a diploma in Electrical Engineering from VJTI.
There, Sukadia elected for the General Secretary of the student body. Finally, for the first time Mohan Lal Sukhadia had successfully led hus revolt against British rule.
Sukhadia did inter-caste marriage with Indubala on June 1,1938, while this inter-caste marriage was not an ordinary event in those days.
Contibution in freedom struggle:-
Freedom struggle in Rajasthan was facing twofold and threefold resistance in form of British raj, princely states and local zamindars, Sukhadia along with other activists traveled across remote tribal areas and villages of the region, established direct contact with local peasants and tribesmen, edified them about their constitutional rights and encouraged to espouse the national movement.
While Responding to Mahatma Gandhi’s call of “Quit India” in 1942, Mohanlal Sukhadia playing instrumental role in channelizing it.
Intense rainfall of 1943 devastated Bhilwara and nearby areas causing huge destruction of property and life.
Sukhadia mobilized and arranged food supply, medicines and clothing for the people.
Mohan Lal Sukhadia Era of Rajasthan:-
Mohan Lal Sukhadia did contributed for Mohan Lal Sukhadia University(MLSU) located in Udaipur, Rajsthan.
Yet, the other name of this university is the university of Udaipur. In addition, this University includes all the fields of studies and management courses, field of science and as well as of arts.
In addition, there is sukhadia memorial garden in Udaipur, it seems like he may had donated his property to the state of rajasthan in the form of university, memorial garden and sukhadia circle
