Eklingji Udaipur

Eklingji is situated 22 KM from Udaipur.

The temple was constructed by Bappa Rawal (ruler) in the 8th century.

The original idol or murti was destroyed by the Sultans,

but was installed by Hamir Singh in the 14th century.

Rana Kumbha rebuilt the temple in the 15th century.

It is very easy to reach the temple and all types of local transports are easily available to reach the temple.

But again in the late 15th century, it was attacked by Malva Sultanate, but Rana Raimal defeated and became the last one too rebuilt the temple.

It comprises of 108 small and big temples.

The temple is craved at an extraordinary level and looks stunning even after passed centuries.



The temple has four-faced murti of Lord Shiva of black marble.

50 feet is the height of the idol.

The temple consists of rich history and stories.

It is a very famous temple and located near Udaipur.

The area near the temple is very beautiful, consists of mountains and greenery all over.
